In Denmark there are several model railway clubs using 0 scale (1:45). They are situated in all parts of the country. Many of these clubs were started in the late 40's and early 50's. Odense Model Railway Club dates back to 1949. In the beginning many clubs used mechanical trains, but later passed on to eletrical trains using a third rail system. These days most use only two rails and digital control systems.
